Cake Smash & Birthday Portraits Packages
Let’s celebrate your little one by getting messy, VERY messy!
All cake smash photography sessions take place at my studio, which has been carefully designed to include everything needed for your photoshoot. These are the funnest sessions ever – this is one of the only times you will be actively encouraging your child to eat fistfuls of yummy cake and to make as much mess doing so as possible. You don’t even have to clear it up at the end either – what could be better?!
Leading up to your photoshoot, we will discuss a custom theme for your session. I will then spend a bit of time getting to know your child, having a play (and a cuddle hopefully) before taking some lovely relaxed portrait photos of them in their first outfit using the bespoke set up while it is still nice and clean!
You can then change them into another outfit if you wish. Then it is all about getting your child to make as much mess as they can! They can sometimes need a bit of encouragement but once they understand the assignment, the fun really starts!
Once the cake has been demolished, it is time to get clean again… out comes the tub full of lovely warm water and bubbles so you can take a lovely clean child home.

What is included in my cake smash photography session?
All cake smash photography sessions include a gorgeous and super tasty bespoke cake and decorations. On the day, your session will include a mini portrait session to begin followed by the main event… the cake smash! Please let me know any ideas you have upon enquiry, so we can work together to achieve the perfect set up for your little one.
When is the best time to book in my cake smash photography session?
I advise that you book in your cake smash photography session for at least 3 weeks prior to your little one's birthday to ensure that you get the images back in time. Please note it is always best to book in advance, as I only take a limited number of cake smash bookings.
My child has allergies, can you cater for them?
Yes, please let me know when booking and I will confirm with my baker.
How long do cake smash sessions last?
Cake smash sessions usually last 1-2 hours, and if you’re lucky enough to have any cake left intact, it’s yours to take home!
Birthday Portraits
Celebrate the first 12 months of your baby’s life. A 1st Birthday portrait session is a very special way to mark a huge baby milestone. (it’s a massive moment in your life too!)
Let’s face it, your baby’s first birthday is going to be far more special to you than it is to them, So let’s give them some amazing photographs to look back on when they’re older! It's just another day of discovery and adventure to a 12 month old but to us as parent’s there aren't many things to top our baby’s first Birthday. There will be plenty of time over the years for big parties and presents, at the moment it’s all about cherishing these rapidly growing bubbas. My first birthday sessions allow you to create an everlasting memory with your baby and the photographs you choose will be treasured forever.
